From June 1st to 3rd, the delegation headed by H.E. Mr. Nerses Yeritsyan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia visited Arab Republic of Egypt at the invitation of Egyptian investment company “ARTOC group”.
On January 18, within the framework of the official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt the Speaker of the National Assembly H.E. Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan met with the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif.
In the evening of January 16 in honor of RA NA Speaker H.E. Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan an official reception was organized in the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Numerous Egyptian officials, ambassadors accredited in Cairo and high ranking diplomats, employees of mass media, as well as representatives of the Egyptian Armenian community attended the reception.
On January 16 in the afternoon the official delegation led by RA NA Speaker visited the parliament of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Speaker of the People’s Assembly of the Arab Republic of Egypt H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour met the RA NA Speaker at the doors of the People’s Assembly of the Arab Republic of Egypt. On Tuesday, 17th of November H.E. Dr. Armen Melkonian presented to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hosny Mubarak, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
