Dear friends,

Since the establishment of the Armenian Embassy in Cairo we have enjoyed the most sincere friendship and assistance on the part of Armenian community here in Egypt. With this first address, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to all those Egyptian Armenians who contributed to the activities of the Embassy, who rendered their invaluable support in implementing our projects and programs, thus contributing to the deepening of relations between Armenia and Egypt, as well as cementing the centuries-old friendship between our nations. 

During these years we succeeded in bringing the two countries even closer to each other, establishing political dialogue of highest level and developing relations "aksar min mumtaz". And in all this we also acknowledge the contribution of our friends.

I was immensely glad that in the preparation works of this website the representatives of the younger generation of Egyptian Armenians took active participation. I would like to see their more active involvement in the Embassy's activities in the future. For the first time we provided the Egyptian-Armenian senior students and university/college graduates the possibility to intern at the Embassy. The internship program offers many opportunities to gain a unique perspective on how the embassy operates.
